COVID-19 Places Economic Recovery Index (CoPERI)

Analysing the local economic impact of the pandemic on people, businesses and places.

Research project aim

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a dramatic impact on the UK and its local economies.

This dashboard illustrates the local economic impacts of the pandemic on people and business, to help us identify places within local economies that face substantial risk of hardship once the public health measures are lifted.

It provides research-lead metrics reflecting the effect of the pandemic on people, businesses and places, helping policy-makers to tailor their interventions to the places specific needs.

CoPERI Dashboard

An interactive tool to illustrate the local economic impacts of the pandemic and identify neighbourhoods that face substantial risk of recovery post-COVID-19.
